He's wrong, he says the Red Ranger is Tod Fisher, his real name will be Reese, the stuff on the link I just posted is true. It's the announcement for actors wanting to be Power Rangers. Man I wish I was in good enough shape! And not going into college.
Yeah, which got cleared up, but still. Some people consider the Black Ranger in Overdrive a sterotype, he's African American and they protrayed him as a thief.
You know, I do wonder how the RPM Rangers, particularally Flynn and Ziggy, will react in our crossover when they find out they're fictional in the Samurai Blade world.
Yeah, and it makes it funny because they character she most interacts with is Ziggy, which leads to a lot of funny situations. She's also 18, which makes her the youngest mentor in Power Rangers history. Though once you find out her past, you feel sorry for her.
Yeah, that'd be cool, it'd certainly be intresting. I agree, a diverse team is good, makes them more relatible as well.
Yeah. Another thing that's fitting is I think the Lion Zord is perfect for him, it fits his personality well.
Yeah, in Go-Onger, the Engines were sentient creatures from Engine World, which was ether an alien world or an alternate reality, and the monsters were pollution based creatures, so there was an ecological attribute in it. This also explains the eyes.
Yeah, RPM, I love it so much, but the theme stinks. I wouldn't have minded if it'd kept the same style of Go-Onger's theme, anything but what we got.
And his response during the question of the interview. He's clearly proud he's Scottish. And he's the first Scottish Power Ranger. In fact he's the first Scottish character, despite the fact Clank of the Machine Empire (the series' 'Monster Grower') having a Scottish accent, he was an alien, thus not actuelly Scottish. That and being able to lift a footsoldier overhead and throw it with one arm makes him even cooler than the fact he's Scottish (I'm Scott-Irish partly).
Yeah, very true. That is possible, but they could've always just made it a dog, not tell what kind it was. But I get the point. I'm amazed at how entirely diffrent RPM is, in RPM, Zords were living creatures from another planet and the monsters were aliens dedicated to turning Earth into a world perfect to their needs. So entirely diffrent plots.
Still, he makes good comic relief. Flynn also has his share of funny moments, but his are diffrent enough from Ziggy to make them both enjoyible and unique.
Yeah, that's possible. They kept the ones that were more clear and reconizible. The fact a whale Zord appears later may also be the reason they made it a shark.
Yeah, I remember, that was funny. Intresting thing, Wolf Cruiser's Sentai counterpart, Engine Gunperd, is actuelly a Germen Sheperd based mecha instead of a wolf.
I haven't seen it fully, unfortunately. Just an MV...which I watch a lot for the fact I love the Shinkenger theme.
Yeah, but I have to say, Ziggy reminds me a lot of Ron from Kim Possible, which makes sense being the Kim Possible Story Editor was the original execuitive producer. And it works well. Good way to insert comedy without changing the tone.
The other thing that does is the 'character background' episodes, yeah, they had to cut back the action to be able to show it, but it's worth it to actuelly get to know the characters. Other series, we're lucky to have an episode dedicated to the backstories of all the Rangers, here, we really get to know and care about the characters, and some of their backstories are relatible (minus the doomsday event). Ziggy's background really made me care for him due to the fact he made enemies of every gang in the city to save people.
