  • Oh right. It was a while since I last saw the episode they explained it.

    Funnily enough, there were 3 men involved ^^;
    I think it's because it's like a ritual. There was some temple that used 2 humans as sacrifice to open some gate, and apparently those were the words needed.
    yusei can go to prison again and stay there for all i care

    A scene to summon a Synchro monster takes like, 25 seconds, and an Xyz 10 seconds.

    True dat.
    I remember there would always be that one kid in elementary school with a pack of raisins every day. Like...why. I'm so sorry.

    Thanks for asking (not being sarcastic). Uh...could be better. :( Besides some emotional stuff going on, I'm also getting palpitations and chest pains a lot more often. The last time I saw my doctor about it (like ~six months ago) I wasn't taken seriously at all, so I'm not really motivated to go again. I get this impression my doctor finds me and my mom really annoying, so I'm going to ask to switch soon. I suddenly did a lot of venting to a friend I've had for five years a few weeks ago at like 3 AM, and he took like a decade to reply and I'm like "aw crap w h y did I do that........................." But he was really nice about it, and we've gotten a lot closer in a short amount of time. We rarely discuss our personal lives, but I had this strong feeling that he would be a good person to talk to, just by seeing the way he treats other people. Some people are just so great.

    But enough about me. What about you? You got a job, was it? Where do you work again? (sorry, I think I knew at some point but I forgot) And did you hear that song "It's Thankgiving"?
    Anything chocolate is good, unless it contains raisins. I don't even mind dark chocolate.

    Sorry I've been taking so long to reply lately. I haven't been feeling so great the past couple of weeks and I'm losing interest in a lot of things, including the Internet. I only go on now once or twice a day to check facebook/twitter/tumblr and I never end up talking to anyone. I miss talking to people though, including you, so I'm going to make a better effort to reply now. :)
    I wish the movie explored on that instead of focusing on Yusei so much. That's why I felt that Jaden felt so out of place...

    Ritual Summoning and Union monsters were never really popular in the first place :/
    Same here.

    A sequel series? Like Zexal II? It's pretty much the same thing. I could only see them go back to GX if they wanted to advertise Fusions heavily again, which I doubt.
    I think Satorious was the villain I liked the most from GX. Something about him really hit me, though his villain form in the last duel of Season 2 against Jaden looked way too stupid for my tastes to continue taking him seriously. He did redeem himself in the Dark World arc, though. Season 4 Jaden was pretty cool and interesting. I wanted to see more of how Yubel affected him, since I thought she was a cool character herself.
    why are my eyes bleeding at the horrible sight i have just imagined

    why ;_;

    Quick change of topic: Why is GX your favorite saga?
    that's why i was hesitant to change it to this in the first place ;_;

    but it's from an unreleased game not some dumb 10-year old~~~
    Panda has a susprisingly extreme imagination if that includes Eraserhead and Blue Velvet! Yes, Rin-Rin does remind me a lot of Conway, which is one of the reasons I like him. The Japanese obviously have a thing for socially inept stalkers with glasses.
    I remember them devoting a section to clips which were particularly badly staged. There was one where this guy lifted a caravan door off its hinges then quite willingly laid down on his back with it.

    I like the armchair "game", personally. It's fun to position your cursor so that the family keep whizzing right past into some unseen abyss.

    Weird Girl and Mr. Whiskers reminded me a lot of myself and Scamp, so I was sad that they didn't get a happier ending. :(
    He's a bull terrier, according to the official website (the film is actually a remake of a live action short Tim Burton made in the 80s, where the dog in question was a bull terrier). I'd assumed that he was meant to be the same breed as Stupid Dog from Family Dog (a long-forgotten cartoon from the early 90s which Burton worked on), since Sparky looks like a bigger, fatter version of him. I don't get where the "Weenie" part comes from either. Was "Frankenterrier" not considered catchy enough?
    Does that mean that Shirokuma Cafe also takes place in the same universe as Inland Empire? Because the bunnies have a cameo in that. :3
    I have vivid memories of this clip where some guy runs to catch a baseball and falls straight off a cliff. With hindsight though, I suspect that one was staged.

    Did I ever tell you about this British pre-school show called The Boohbahs? Here's the official website. See if you can make sense of it. :p

    I loved Frankenweenie for the most part, but I do wish that the ending had been significantly different. The main characters get a cop-out happy ending while Weird Girl and Mr. Whiskers are treated very cold-heartedly, which seemed unfair to me. I'm actually going to see ParaNorman tomorrow (it's playing at the student cinema). Unfortunately I don't think Wreck-It-Ralph will be out in the UK until February...they usually like to hold over one of the US holiday releases for the February half-term over here.
    I agree with your blog. Frankly I enjoy this "short-cut" more than having to see Iris painfully train a Dratini to Dragonite. I must say that is Dnite which brought me back into the anime.
    Well, David Lynch did do that web series about the three bunnies who shared an apartment...and practiced occult rituals.
    Our equivalent of America's Funniest Home Videos is called "You've Been Framed". It used to be the highlight of my Sunday evenings as a kid, though whenever I catch clips nowadays it mosly makes me cringe. I think the studio audience are just plain mean to laugh at half the stuff they do. :p

    I've never watched Dora the Explorer, does it also contain ambiguous drug references? Hey, what was that pre-school show you showed me a clip from quite soon after we first started talking? The one with the accidental racism?

    Admittedly it took me a while to get the hang of it, so you didn't miss too much. I got a mug featuring an asterick talking to an at sign. I went to Colchester zoo and saw some otters. I also bemoaned the lack of a Mr. Whiskers plush (from Frankenweenie) in the Disney Store.
    I've often wondered myself who the target audience is supposed to be. Maybe it's just aimed at anyone who cares to appreciate it.
    Awww, do they have any youtube videos (or pictures)? :3

    Really? Wow, I'd have thought that the Geordie setting would have been considered too esoteric for them to bother showing it anywhere outside the UK. It was an educational show which would intermitently stop the story to insert a few random lessons about words and spelling. For some reason the "Magic E" song (which admittedly sounds like a drug advertisement to my adult ears) really stayed with me. ("If you ROB, you'll get a ROBE with Magic E/ And then the COP will have to COPE with Magic E.")

    Hmm, that's odd...more tweets should load if you scroll to the bottom of the page and wait a couple of moments.
    No, no cake nor party. ^^;; It's just a day like any other for me, plus I really don't have strong ties to my family.
    Looked it up. It was episode 8. You'd probably like the accompanying story a lot, since it's very Grizzly heavy. :)
    Possibly the cat was introduced to the rat (or other rats) as a kitten. I hear they're less likely to view a small animal as prey later in life if they've been familiarised with them at an early age. Scamp was actually scared of my rabbit, Stanley, when he was a kitten, but that was probably because Stanley was long-overdue for a claw clipping at the time, which kinda gave him this distinct Freddy Krueger look.
    Is your Dad into pigeon racing? There was actually a popular children's TV series about racing pigeons when I was a kid, called "Geordie Racer". This was the theme song.
    Thanks, I'm honoured to have Jimmy Ray as one of my followers! I've been tweeting since late August and, as you can see, I don't have a huge number of followers right now, but I've been having fun with it and that's all that matters. :)
    They could do that, but Polar Bear would definitely lose a bit of his quirkiness without them. Oh, my favourite episode is definitely the one where a shoebill magazine editor visits the cafe to write an article on it. I think it's in episode 7 or 8.
    I love how the rat actually crawls right over another rat to get to the cat. :3
    People bring their rats and have them judged according to breed, though it's also a great social atmosphere, and you get to hang out with other rat owners and play with their rats. Here it is. :) Do you have a twitter account?
