That sweet feeling of being first, with a red horn and a blue shell comes at you
That rage face when lightning strikes before reaching the finish before the blue shell hits
Yes, you could say that. They are much more mature anyway, as ironic as that may be.
The Volcanics? As in Axel Brodie's deck? Whoa, that's great! Had a lot of fun using those back in the day. And well, the Harpies I'm not surprised too much. They were always an annoying force to be reckoned with Curse you Jasmine!! I was, however, surprised to see that the Supreme King's deck was quite popular in the competitive scene as well. I mean, I can see how it'd be effective, but it just seemed sort of gimmicky to me. Then again, a lot of cards from the anime were really gimmicky haha. Either way, it's good to see the GX cards getting some love :')
The thing about XYZ monsters is that they come with so much reward with little to no risk or payment. *Enters old geezer mode* Back in my day, it was an accomplishment to summon an 8-star monster or even one with 2500 Atk points. And while the power creep is understandable, and indeed inevitable, it just places such a huge gap between Gen 4 and the previous generations. What's more is that some XYZ are just so ridiculously powerful as to leave no match for even other lower-tier XYZ, so to speak (i.e. Lightsworn and Dragon Rulers, back when I was last playing anyway).
