    Part 1: Well...okay, let me see if I can use imagery. Imagine a village divided in half. One side has houses with gold roofs, and the other has houses with red roofs. The loyal followers of God go in the gold half, and the disloyal go in the red half. Neither side is rewarded (or punished) for their deeds until the day of judgment.

    Part 2: Atheist dies, finds out Heaven is real, is screwed. Religious person dies, finds out Heaven isn't real, is screwed. Get it? :p
    Although actually...I was taught that the "Hell" that a lot of preachers rant about isn't real...that Heaven is divided in two halves. One half holds the people who obeyed God, the other half holds the ones who do not. And nobody is punished or rewarded until the time of judgment. *gets the feeling this is all gibberish to you*

    And you know what I realized? No matter what your beliefs are, if someone dies and finds out their beliefs were wrong, they're screwed. XD
    Well...it's basically the only way, as far as the Christian beliefs are concerned...
