We've only had Golden Retrievers in my family (Which started with my mother, when she was in Junior High). I recall my mother looking for a new doggie when our 16 year-old passed away, and she was debating between getting another Golden, or a Bernese (Since they're her favourites).
We ended up getting another Golden, but my mother continues to wish for a Bernese (I think she was concerned about their range in health-related issues, and the cost of one).
I bet your doggies were beyond wonderful, Miar-kun (I wish I could have met them). I even remember the day when you told me that one of them had passed away.
The puppy escaped from the owner it was given to, and was found stuck in a trap (Which was meant for coyotes). Apparently, it fought off a wolf (Or a coyote), and managed to fend for itself while being stuck in the trap.
It was also during Winter, so the puppy was probably fairly cold.
The puppy was soon given to a new owner, as in, the person who found the puppy in the trap.
Now I'm going to be stressed out for the rest of the night (It's not your fault; I just tried to pull a small trick/prank on you, and it looks like it's backfiring).
