God, I laughed at the ones you just chose for Ash. Seriously, WTF were they thinking?
The one with Iris saying "littler than little" was hilarious as well!
Sure. You can PM me whatever bad quotes you find, and I'll continue my blog off from yours, unless you'd like to make a new blog with a Part 2 yourself. If you can't, it's fine, or if you don't want me to, that's fine as well.
Or voice act, or make decent music compositions on their own...practically the only thing TPCi/DuArt do right themselves is refraining from editing (takes no effort), replacing JPN music (oh wait, they still do that), and making errors without correcting them (that's about it). Of course, given all the massive steps down from the previous 4Kids dub, it isn't worth it.
That's pretty much why I feel it's beyond repair at this point. The dub is over if we're stuck with this cast and crew...it has gone too downhill. It's...ridiculous how bad it is compared to how it used to be in its earlier seasons. I'd take a slightly better than mediocre dub over the terribad one we have now.
TPCi can't even write decent scripts for the English dub, as if their voice acting wasn't bad enough. At least 4Kids' scripts didn't make me want to pound my face in, as cheesy as they were. Heck, "Cruisin' for a Brusin'" and the lame puns are better than 85% of the dialogue/script writing nowadays in the dub.
Ash isn't even the same character anymore in my book that he was at the beginning of the anime.
Seriously? Though I completely agree with Dogasu about the cynical way the dubbers make the kids speak-- it happens a lot in the English dub of Sinnoh. They don't sound like actual kids talking about stuff at all...
