Yup: I agree.
My reasoning for that is that Amy made Max unique and actually entertaining with a distinct voice that went away from the stereotypical nerd voice she could've used, but Kayzie made that mistake, and was just annoying in the role and made Max seem so useless and irritating. The voice she used was still decent, but it wasn't superb for the character like Amy's was.
On its own, Kayzie's take works for the role, but it is very standard and not distinct at all. Amy's Max was a lot better, though.
