Yeah. xD And the cool thing about Shiny Objects is that they sorta magnetize toward you when you get close, so you don't have to run right over them. And when you defeat an enemy or smash a Tiki (kinda hard to explain xD), the Shiny Objects inside of them literally seek you out and fly to you, no matter how far away the enemy/Tiki was when it died.
Quite. There's actually a part of the game where you're playing as Patrick and are required to use his enemy-throwing ability. xD
Also, you collect Golden Spatulas in the game, which are basically a Power Star/Shine Sprite equivalent. And your coin-substitute? Shiny Objects. Literally. They're called Shiny Objects. XD
But yeah, as for the playstyles ... SpongeBob has a variety of bubble-based attacks (and he gains access to two more as you progress through the game, one of which is extremely useful), some ranged and some melee. Patrick is a melee-oriented character, with a Shockwave Stomp (er ... belly flop) that can stun larger enemies, allowing him to pick them up and throw them. He's also the only character who can pick things up at all. And then Sandy has karate kicks and her lasso, the latter of which can be used to destroy enemies, hover through the air for a short period of time, and swing from certain points (kinda like the Grappling Hook in WW, only with a much simpler aiming method).
Well, it's pretty well-made regardless. Good controls, three characters with unique movesets and playstyles, many levels based on areas in the show (even minor ones like Sand Mountain and Rock Bottom, as well as other unique places like the Flying Dutchman's Graveyard and SpongeBob's Dream) ... I just loved it really. xD
