  • Okay. ._.;

    ... I guess I just sort of had a revelation to be honest, and that's why I brought it up. I've always felt that way now that I think about it, but it had never really occurred to me. And then I saw this one commercial for Forza 5, and as the camera slowly panned across different parts of the featured car's body, it hit me: vehicular fanservice is a major drive (no pun intended) behind these games, and that's certainly the case for me.
    I know you never had a problem with me liking it. I ... honestly, I don't quite know why exactly I brought it up. I'm sorry. ._.;
    Sounds fun. xD

    Something just occurred to me really. I know it won't change how you feel, but I just want to make sure you understand my perspective. As far as racing games go ... yes, they do all share common qualities, and some of them within the same franchise can feel like the same thing with a new coat of paint. But ... the gameplay isn't the only reason I play them. Sure, blazing around at 150+ miles per hour while trying to stay ahead of the pack is fun and thrilling, but ... I mean, part of the reason they give you so many cars to race with in some of these games (NFS, Forza Motorsport, Gran Turismo, etc) is so that you can drive the cars you love but will probably never get to own in real life. I know that 99% of the cars I like are far beyond my price range, but being able to drive them in a game ... it makes me happy anyway. If I can just experience a fraction of what it'd be like to really drive a Lamborghini or a Mercedes-Benz ... to me, that also makes a game fun.
    Sorry for being a bit late for the reply though. Mom wanted me to see a scene in Die Another Day. xD
    Well okay. ._. I ... hm. I will say she needs more development. But ... so does just about everyone. xD Seems like Jaune's getting a fair amount recently, having four whole episodes of stuff related to him.

    Oh, and I guess another reason I wanna just replay ME2 again first is because I want to do my Soldier run so I can get the solid mass of badassery known as the Revenant LMG. @_@
