  • Oh dear. XD Well ... there was one scene you might like then. Shepard and crew have their guns pointed at him (their first encounter), and Shepard says something like "Three on one. It's over." To which he replies "No ... now it's fun."
    Well ... he didn't speak much. I guess he was cool in battle though. He had afterimages and could teleport short distances. And like his Phantom bretheren (sisteren? Phantoms are all girls), he has an Arm Cannon of the power palm variety. And his could be used for a sort of Shockwave Stomp.
    Well, he really was an ass. You could never touch him in your previous encounters, he kills a former party member (or two depending on if you played your cards right or not), and things seemed to (mostly) go his way, with one exception I suppose. But late in the game, you're assaulting the stronghold of the organization he works for to get back important data that was stolen earlier, before Shepard and crew had time to get answers. You reach the room formerly used by the organization's leader, but he's not there. So you find the computer room and try to start cracking the data, and ... there he is. Kai Leng, the biotic ninja assassin of doom, asshole of the game and periodic annoyance, shows up for a final confrontation. After defeating him in the ensuing boss fight, this happens. Note the Renegade interrupt prompt. -w-

    Yeah. :) I love it.

    ... but I will say, I loved going Renegade for a brief moment to get revenge on an asshole villain who caused nothing but grief for Shepard throughout ME3.
    Oh ... well, that's one thing I love about ME. Being a Paragon isn't just being a generic hero. You can do things like ...
    - Apply medigel to save a dying civilian who's suffering from something like a sickness or gunshot wound (both situations occur in ME2).
    - Give a security officer a much-needed verbal asskicking after he shows significant bias against a quarian who was falsely accused of theft by an equally-prejudiced volus.
    - Comfort a party member or stop them from committing suicide.

    And that's just some things I can think of off the top of my head. Not to mention the letters you get later on from people you helped, or seeing them in another area later on and having them thank you for your assistance, and the shift in alien attitude toward humans over the course of the three games ... being a Paragon, you legitimately feel like you're making the galaxy a better place.
    And it's messed up imo. Why should being a good person be made out to be boring? Why should being evil be made out to be fun and/or interesting?
    I just don't like that they try to make all these cool, "badass" villains ...

    Good. xD
    Fair enough. I was just saying ^^;

    Sorry for the lateass reply, mom's home and she brought snacks.
    You don't really think so, do you? :I

    Also being Renegade in ME2 causes your character to develop facial scars (and they're rather unsightly imo), which you have to get a medical procedure at some point early on to prevent from happening (and that also restores your face to its smooth glory if you already have some). :I
    I probably will, but ..... BLEAH. I can't bring myself to be mean. Not in that game. :C especially since ME1 and ME2 have two bars for Paragon and Renegade rather than a single Reputation bar that fills with both, meaning that swaying from your primary side too much might render you unable to choose certain dialogue options, which could have dire ramifications
    Also, I'll beat ME3 again tomorrow. :p Then I can start my Adept run. XD I ... might actually go mostly Renegade this time, just to try it out ... idk.
