  • Yay. XD That last bit got a little overboard for me, but eh. :p It was amusing overall.
    dang it, I knew that sounded too desperate

    I just ... well, SpongeBob reference .... *sits quietly* ._.
    ... I don't know. Because you're more confident than me?

    Good. :3 Also ... apparently you forgot about the PM I sent you last night?
    Oookay. Ugh, I need to stop getting so defensive. ><

    Well, if you say so. xD And it's funny because there's a third power the Juggernaut has that most people seem to think is useless unless you upgrade it fully, and yet ... I have it at rank 3 (out of 6; every ability for every character has 6 ranks, the last three of which branch off into one of two upgrades), and it serves me well as a utility. To explain further: it's a small, deployable turret. It's relatively frail at rank 3, and doesn't do too much damage, but it can partially restore a nearby teammate's shields (or even its owner's), and it fires a small energy ball that can stun enemies for a brief moment if it his, or it can make them deploy a protective barrier/roll out of the way sooner than they normally would. It can also be quickly redeployed thanks to a very short cooldown time, and it's launched rather than deployed, so you can bounce it off of walls, or into rooms a good distance from your position (excellent for supporting distant teammates). Oh, and it hovers a couple feet off the ground, so you can place it behind a low wall and still have it be effective. I find myself getting random kills and assists from it sometimes. xD
    I kid you not though. Comparing something like Gran Turismo to Burnout ... they play almost entirely different. ;_;

    Well, this one is more of a "fire and forget" sort of thing. You just put it up and you can keep walking.
    Oh ... I see. Well ... honestly, not all of them are exactly the same. There are different driving mechanics, on a spectrum from realistic to ... well, Burnout. XD And different games offer different levels of customization, different selections of vehicles, different settings (i.e. off-road racing vs. illegal street racing), and then there's the factor of whether or not police are a threat ... but eh. I bet it's all the same to you anyway. >.>;

    I doubt it. xD
    Implying there are any other racing games you even like.

    Oh. :p Well the cooldown isn't terribly long. And with the way I have it set up, it sends out a small, damaging pulse in a short radius when it's deployed, and while it's up, it will also inflict a shock DOT (damage over time effect) on any enemy passing through it (since it only blocks fast things, like bullets and missiles). Like all DOT effects, it can be detonated if you hit them with the right power (Siege Pulse, another Juggernaut skill, can detonate this one). Plus, the final upgrade I picked for it increases its size drastically, making it easy to hide behind, as well as block doorways and shield teammates.
