Oh please, for all we know the world could go berserk and in 20 years....everyone's a cannibalistic farmer. =P
I find unions to having a useful purpose in developing countries (and early America) as a check against companies with poor regulations and workplace safety. However, I see less of their use in developed countries with higher regulation and the inevitable economic shift towards services. As for individual unions, some are corrupt, and some are good. I do believe they are tied too much to politics, when they need to focus just on their industry.
Oh, just other things. I was playing more piano, harmonica, and Tetris. I'm just getting back to what I'm used to. What about you? What have you been doing lately?
RETAIL SUCKS, CUSTOMERS (for the most part) ARE PAIN IN REAR. >:O >:O I've heard the arguement that "traditional" manufactering jobs were more union prone, and with women entering the workforce, plus the rise of the service industry lead to unions falling decline. But that was in a book >.>
Lucky!
Life has been pretty decent. I've been getting back to playing the guitar, and I've been getting back to playing Pokémon. Listening to a lot of music too.
True, especially the note on Auto companies and unions, which have been shown to increase the sticker price. >.< I'm still trying to figure out why some industries are more unionized than others (Construction vs. retail say)
