(That's what I'm sayin'. Nobody. But it was awful, I'll tell you that. I-it was only for you. :I Yeah, that's the most popular song off of the album. Here's the album if you feel like listening to it.
*wonders if Pyra is practicing her hugs on the bear or if she's just stalling*[/s])
(I SHALL TAKE THIS MOMENT TO SHOW YOU SYMPHONY X, WHOM I PREFER OVER DREAM THEATER, MYSELF. So you agree, yes? :I They're really good. )
So tell him to make one. :I As you know, the Internet connection at my week-end house sucks monkey butt, so when I tried to download some songs, it had this weird problem where it wouldn't download completely. Like, I would play it, and then when it got to a certain point, it would skip to the next song. I decided to remove one of the songs and buy it again, but apparently when you buy a song you can download it again for free, so that's good. I got this problem on most of the songs I purchased yesterday, including a lot of tracks from Symphony X's Iconoclast. The titular song from that album is album-only, but when I tried to fix the problem, it said I had to buy the album over again. So now I'm without the album's epic ten-minuter. :c
They might, I don't know. It would probably take up a lot of the concert. xD
(You do feel accomplished, that's for sure. In my research, I've found that research is not actually a school subject. It's going to be hard resisting the urge to humor you. I figured that one would be your favorite. Actually, maybe Viva la Vida would be more to your tastes. I was originially thinking it would be Parachutes because of its infrequent use of distorted guitars, but maybe you could check out the albums yourself.
*shrugs away the thought and sits on the couch*)
(THIS ONE'S FROM THE SAME ALBUM AS "AS I AM". AS A MATTER OF FACT, TRAIN OF THOUGHT HAS ONLY TWO OF ITS SIX SONGS BEING LESS THAN TEN MINUTES, "AS I AM" BEING THE FIRST. I knew that. :I [but seriously I know next to nothing about Judas Priest])
Get Cap to make one. :I More iPod insanity happened today. Shall I tell relate to you its latest charming quirk/massive pain in the ass?
Really, now? Dream Theater makes twenty-minute-plus songs, but I'm fairly certain they're all progressive rock, at least for the most part. "Octavarium" and "Six Degrees on Inner Turbulence" are two I've listened to, the former being twenty minutes long and the latter being forty minutes long.
(Whenever something odd happens we get all meta and then lose the original topic. Ugh, research. My least favorite subject. I promise to never make you laugh again. Oh, well. Maybe you'll like their earlier, more acoustic stuff.
*wonders if Pyra can psychically sense what he's doing*)
(WOULD YOU LIKE ME TO SHOW YOU AN EPIC TEN-MINUTER NOW? Yeah, totally. Say, what's that a cover of anyway? *slap*)
Yes. :I I didn't get it, but okay. :I
On average. It's not uncommon for us to do that for eight to ten minutes.
Hopefully, it's one of the main reasons you're my favorite broski.
(Of course, now e're jsut being meta or something. Not sure what my district would do. Very well, then. I'm sorry for making you laugh. Well, here's something from their latest album. It's very poppy, I doubt you'll like it, to be honest. xP
*closes refrigerator door*)
(HERE'S SOMETHING FROM TRAIN OF THOUGHT, THEIR STRAIGHTEST METAL ALBUM YET. Anyway, that was fucking awesome.)
*ahem* We. :I I thoguht you meant... you know what, nevermind.
*chop*
Of course. I think the closest thing the progressive metal community has to a tradition is throwing our arms to the sky and pretending to be an epic hero out to save the world.
(So we're in a game of denial that isn't about our relationship status? This is a milestone! ... They would be very dedicated if they could. I'm sorry and proud at the same time. Ya really think so? I can't find the studio version of this song, but it definitely has the same aesthetic to it. Folksy and vaguely gothic.
*opens the fridge to find... cheese*)
(NOW, DON'T JUDGE A BAND BY ONE SONG. "PANIC ATTACK" IS AMONG THEIR BEST, IN MY OPINION. HERE'S ANOTHER ONE, ALSO ANOTHER ONE OF MY FAVORITES.)
You'd advise yourself against it? That's so meta. Umm, I guess. Would it make you watch it?
*is tempted to release the sub-conversation guilloutine*
