Well... that is true, and I don't really post that frequently either (well, compared to people like Ryuu). Just 3 months shorter, and I was inactive for like 2 months before I started posting and stuff, so its not that much of a difference. (Oh, and congrats.)
Well... say for example you want Pokabu sticking out of a box. you basically just delete part of his feet coming out of the box, so it would look its jumping out. Get it?
Ah, I see... What I do, is make a new layer, fill it, make the fill 0, and then Inside Stroke it. But your method works better for the effect we're trying to do.
Anyway, first you have to decide which part of the object is staying inside the box. For example, if we a Pokabu jumping out of a box, feet are the part that need to stay in. And the obviously the means, its the bottom part of the border that needs to stay on top, with Pokabu overlapping the others. So you basically cut out the bottom part of the border, and paste it on top. Then you put the rest of the border under Pokabu, and viola.
If you want, I can make you an image tutorial, since that'd be a bit easier for me. xD
Yeah, I just mod the Gallery. But I can still dish out infractions. But hey its okay. xD
Ah, same here. Its a solid good version, so there really isn't much reason to upgrade.
Anyway, its not that hard to achieve that effect. Its alot easier when you don't have a border, since you just delete the part you want to be in the box. But when there's a border, its a bit different. How do you usually make borders for your banners?
Yeah, I do. But well... we aren't really supposed discuss bans. I can say though that its because he showed some unacceptable behavior with some of the users.
Ah, cool.
I think I get what you're saying... you want to make it look like the object is coming out of the box, rather than standing ontop of it, right?
Btw, what version of Ps are you using?
