Okay, RS and FRLG were contemporaneous. Great, that still does not mean that RS takes place after GSC. I never said NONE of them were sequels. I said Gen I and Gen II had a continuous storyline, and that was broken by Gen III which established a new storyline. Ergo, Gen I+Gen II= Complete "Classic" storyline, Gen III = Its own storyline. Being contamporaneous does not change that. Understand?

RS were NOT sequels to GSC in terms of story. Where was it stated that RS takes place X amount of time after GSC ala GSC did for RBGY? In terms of franchise, yes, they were sequels, but not truly. More like new starts.
