  • Same. Kinda tired. Are you on Windows? I feel like leaving soon...besides..IM is faster.
That reminds me, I should go get my summer reading book.... It's some lame novel by the name of "Kindred" or something. I mean, sure, I could be reading about Prohibition or LBJ or the Panama Canal, but I guess it's more important that I read this book that has no historical value and is only meant to serve as fodder for the mind.

I'm sorry, I'm in a rant-y mood right now. By all means, ignore me and my temper. :p
I don't care what it is. I just want it to end. And I have to get mad at the government beaucrat who decided that it would be a good idea to enforce the reading of selected books in school that they feel will benefit us most. I can read perfectly fine, thanks. 10 books in 2 months is not a bad record at all.
No, she just stalls with the material for so long that we have 3 books left to read in the month before school ends.
Half of my school classes are like that. Like the time it took us 3 months to get through Romeo and Juliet in English because my teacher wanted to read /every single/ scene out loud. Or the time she had to read Of Mice and Men out loud to us like we were the special needs class from 5th grade.

Except she didn't read to us. She got lazy, so she had a student pick up the slack.
But that won't stop others from throwing obstacles in my way. Honestly, what do they want me to do with something as repetitive as this online health course? Thanks for taking an interest in my personal fitness, I guess, especially now that I'm past the age where my habits have been set.
Ah, I don't care about that. I care about actually having a good life on this planet. I'd rather devote my resources to getting rid of the preliminary distractions that people pretend are meaningful.
Especially in Science, a field build upon improving upon theories of the past. Of course, that doesn't stop them from teaching us the intracacies of the atom - a particle so unknown that every word on it is an unfinished sentence amended by every future exploration of the subject.
That's it in a nutshell. Oddly specific health guidelines that, for lack of a better word, I'll call 'theories' because of their constantly-changing nature. But hey, I don't mind wasting part of my summer learning theories that may change eventually.
Yeah haha it said all of that stuff. Sure, I was paraphrasing, but... :p The person I was skypeing at the time was Laughing his head off at my voice-over of the whole thing.
    It's going, it's going. :p

I posted about it in the Sex Ed thread in the Real World, if you're that curious. It's THAT bad. :p
