  • This interest came to mind when my brother made an insulting comment about them while playing call of duty (calling them the Mexicans of Asia). Then my dad told him "I dunno, they're a tough people".

After learning more about them, I was like "Oh shit dad, you weren't kidding!"

My latest thoughts...No wonder so many people said America lost that war!
Yeah, they didn't even wear body armor either. They just marched in wearing straw sandals and ceremonial outfits with no protective gear. They had tons of troops, and during battles they continually deployed them even after the American soldiers took many of them down (ammo strain tactic)

The Vietnamese soldiers hid in places like caves for days, and ate stuff that would make you and me puke if they ran out of their rice. Their troops were also highly capable of hand-to-hand combat, and could successfully endure pain from getting shot...

Man, those people are tough. That almost blows my mind.
The Vietnamese, a strong people indeed.

I was wondering where the theories came from on why America lost the 1960's war with them.

There's a lot more to it than I thought...
It would be. I mean, for the Stunfisk run, taking on some of the gyms, like the Ice gym, would be hard. @_@
