  • That sounds plausible. According to the myth about Kyurem in Lacunosa, it "arrived on a meteor," and it's just been sitting in Giant Chasm, threatening to capture and devour any townsfolk wandering around at night. This myth isn't too reliable right now, so I'm less inclined to believe it's been in Giant Chasm all this time. I think it's more likely that Kyurem been in more than one location.
Oh, I didn't realize the cave was in the opening. It probably is a significant location, then. I just assumed it might have been just some cave for Ghetsis and Kyurem to lure N and Zekrom to. Maybe Kyurem has some ties to this cave? It's a little hard to imagine, though, since Giant Chasm is apparently the only location Kyurem has remained in since the original dragon split. Maybe Kyurem didn't stay in one place in the beginning?
I also think the twin heroes originated in the new region. But I'm not sure about the Tao Trio's link to the new region. We don't see very much of the cave at all, so I'm not sure if this cave has any significance yet.
That makes it even more confusing. The trailers raised more questions than answers right now (which I guess is a good thing this close to release as it can incline more people to buy it). I'm very excited for the games now. I wonder if we'll get more trailers next week on Smash leading up to the release.

There is a Nintendo Direct tomorrow but I believe it is solely focusing on the Wii U, which is disappointing as I'm sure we would have gotten even another B2W2 trailer had it been for the DS/3DS too.
It doesn't seem like the Giant Chasm to me, but who knows as it could have expanded in B2W2 so it's too hard to say yet. I don't see the point in N returning to Unova when it has been said time and time again that he is missing, it would make more sense to go and find N especially after Looker's reference. Although it is possible for N to return to Unova, and then we will follow him to the second region if Kyurem escapes there after it absorbs his dragon. This whole thing is confusing as to what they will actually do, I'm not sure at all.

So if Kyurem absorbs N's dragon like it seems it will do in the trailer (well, takes its energy somehow), I wonder how in the hell the player will be able to stop Ghetesis? I doubt Hilda/Hilbert's dragon will do the trick considering it would have just absorbed N's dragon, so their dragon would be no match. Unless, Kyurem turns on Ghetesis and leaves him, blasting the ice all over Unova and we will then have to hunt Kyurem down and battle it/catch it in the new region.
A new trailer aired on Smash. As I'm typing this, another one just aired. Thats nice that we got two trailers unexpectedly so we may get more on Smash in the coming weeks. Also, a new Best Wishes 2 trailer was shown. Take a look at the end of it, as it shows them leaving on a Plane with literally nothing in site but the ocean. Pocket Monsters Best Wishes! Season 2 Trailer 2012-06-03 - YouTube
When do you think we'll get more news? I honestly do not really care for the Pokewood feature on Smash this Sunday, I knew they would feature it inevitably but I thought we would have known more about the game by that point. There are more interesting things they could showcase.

I hate the fact that it seems we may possible get literally no game news until Coro Coro, and then they will use that week before release to flush out information.
So disappointing. I've already lost a lot of my excitement due to lack of any news at all (especially considering Coro Coro didn't even really provide that much). I do wonder when we will get more news. They surely can't just give us the Pokewood feature on Smash then leave us hanging until the June 17 episode of Smash. Its release month, so they should really pump out information, starting with a new game play trailer sometime very soon.
It seems that he isn't replying to much people anymore.

I think I'm going to do that this time around and get the ROM, but I agree with you when you say it's not really a bad thing as long as you buy the English version when it comes out (which I'll be doing for sure). I'm just worried that playing the Japanese ROM will take the enjoyment out of the English version when it comes out for me, but I guess the English version will still be exciting since I'll actually be able to understand the story at that point.
I'm starting to think Masuda's appearance on Smash will be on the June 10th episode. It would make sense to make any ground breaking announcement (cough, second region, cough) on Smash BEFORE Coro Coro is leaked. It wouldn't really make sense for him to appear and make a big announcement on the 17th if Coro Coro is going to reveal it first, which I guess is a good theory for him being on the June 10th episode rather than the 17th.

Whenever Masuda appears, its for something significant whether its a play through or announcement. I'm assuming this time we'll see more footage so theres a chance there will be another play through (this time, from a later stage in the game) but I'm sure he will reveal something too as he doesn't even need to be there if they are just going to have game footage with no announcement since the Smash cast can do that themselves.

Also, do you happen to play the Japanese versions before the English versions are released? Even though I won't understanding a thing, I'm actually thinking of getting the Japanese version this time and getting the English one when its release. But at the same time, since the period between Japanese/English release for B2W2 is going to be shorter than usual for main games its making me tell myself I should just wait for the English version.
It must be for June 10th -- I doubt they prerecord as much as a month's shows. We both think of the same about what the announcement will be about, right?
Well, Iris and Drayden could be swapped once again, under the excuse of Iris setting off to an adventure in White 2 -- but not only is that not too much of a meaningful difference, but would also make us wonder if Black 2's Iris also decides to do just that after growing tired of being a Gym Leader. Maybe she could be the GL in just Black 2, and have Drayden replace her post-League. In White 2, she could be battleable post-League in a story-related sequence -- the same way Drayden will be in Black 2 (in a place other than the World Tournament).

So, effectively the player will be able to battle Iris/Drayden in Black 2/White 2 pre-League and Drayden/Iris in Black 2/White 2 post-League. Only their titles won't necessarily be symmetrical.

Besides that, both will possibly be in the World Tourn., which may be the standard way of rebattling GLs.
I agree, but that's an opinion. We now have proof. :p
I only wonder what will happen with Drayden/Iris. I hope Iris is the GL in both versions... But what would happen with Drayden in this case?
Well, you know what? We should make a custom, dynamic album that will celebrate unused tracks from each game. I'm a bit annoyed by the fact that Pikachu, Suicune, Rayquaza and Giratina have not been featured in an album either. It should be called Pokémon Super Dynamic Music Collection, or something just as cheesy -- and feature covers of the said Pokémon and all tracks that were unused or not put in an album.

I wonder if this means there aren't any other Gyms besides the two new ones. Ash will have met with all of the Gym Leaders we know (besides Cheren, of course), including Homika, by the point -- except for Drayden and Shizui. If there was another GL, wouldn't he/she also appear in the screenshot? That is, unless Ash isn't going to challenge the others. It's also probably the only other Best Wishes! opening, since it also showcases the Pokémon League (not that this matters too much in the anime anyway), and it can't get replaced after being around for only three or four months anyway.
So, 9 total songs, counting the only unused as well...

According to Maxim, the total of Emerald and Platinum tracks are 33, plus 6 Platinum BF-related. I think he may be missing any special jiggles/effects, although I'm not sure if there were actually any at all.

So, if by worst case scenario the Platinum BF songs are repeated, that only leaves 11 spots on the bonus disk. Well, is it possible that there are only 2 or 3 unused BW songs? At the same time, 11 are quite a few. I hope they don't screw Yellow or Crystal by only including the other. I don't mind the Yellow unused track missing (after all, there are other unused ones from RS and DP as well), but which else could be cut? I guess I'd mind cutting the remixes less than the original tracks, although it would suck for Yellow's opening not to be on the disk.
I'm thinking that they are holding off on news for now until the beginning of June where they will start to release more and more info very, very frequently. But who knows, they honestly might not and we will only have Smash & Coro Coro as our info sources which will be extremely disappointing.
Yeah, that's a bit of a bummer... But I'm thinking maybe they simply don't mention them because they are so few... Each disk has an average of about 45 tracks, and the ones exclusive in Yellow and Crystal are about 6 or 7 (unless I'm forgetting any). I guess this is wishful thinking, but they may be in after all. I'm glad that the HGSS soundtrack also had the GSC tracks (through GB Sounds, which was an absolutely satisfying gimmick in HGSS), but I suspect there may have been GSC songs that weren't available through GB Sounds, and hence not in that Album... I could be wrong though.

Which are the tracks exclusive to Yellow and Crystal? There is the Jessie & James theme, the opening, Pikachu's Beach track, and an unused one from Yellow. Crystal has Legendary Beast Encounter, two songs from the Battle Tower, two from the Mobile Adapter, the Title Screen and the Opening. However, Suicune's theme returned in HGSS, and so did the Battle Tower themes. That leaves us with 7 (8 counting the unused track from Yellow) songs not in an album...
I'm getting more and more curious as to what the unrevealed movie Pokemon will be. It seems like it could be anything from a brand new Pokemon, to a Keldeo forme, to the Original Dragon (although Id say the OD is the least likely one to happen).

I'm hoping we'll get something new soon about the games, just a new trailer. Its odd the game is being released in less than a month and we have only had one official trailer (other than the Nintendo Direct one which was the same for the most part).
I asked him! and sorry i didnt reply to your other question right away, ive not been on much @[email protected] and what you want to ask him is, この町、イッシュ地方内ですか?見覚えない景色で、面白いです。 it says, is this town inside of unova? i don't recognize it, how interesting.
Thats odd, when I posted it to you I'm sure it had a completely different URL as I would have known it was from the TV Tokyo website if I saw that one.
