Video games and merchandise have a completely different field of bootlegging. Plushes and figures are fairly easy to fake; just sew some random shit together and say it's legit, or do a coldcast and say it's a PVC. And those pictures you see there? Yeah, bootleggers use the real image, and then send you a fake one that looks like shit. And I could easily point out some bootlegs, just by looking at the price and/or picture. I'm in the anime figure/merchandise community- I know eat these things look like.
And you can't trust anyone. Like you can't trust eBay.
