  • I am a Shinji Sommelier, after all.
I think that he started hating the "Ashy" side of Reggie once he gave up on his dreams and disappointed him. Before, I don't think he minded it, and perhaps even admired it.

    No.
No, she's still 100% Pokémon. Half of the fic would be from her perspective, and the other half would be from the perspective of the trainer pursuing her.
Not very original, but I felt like doing my take on it.

You have dedication, I can't stick to a fic beyond a one shot. xD
I have a half-written one, but I haven't been inspired to finish it.
    I see that you've written a few though. :p
We're hoping for it to happen someday. I'm gonna stay positive and say that it will happen. :)
Just because you don't interact with people doesn't mean you don't know how to. They call that being a sociopath :p But also, respecting elders and getting along with like-aged peers is completely different. You can be taught to be polite and respectful because a lot of it is regimented anyways. You can't teach people how to have genuine interactions with others, that takes experience. I honestly think that he placed the inferiority complex on himself. If you have high achieving siblings, you'll understand. I especially think this because of how much he seemed to respect Reggie (otherwise, he wouldn't have been so broken seeing him lose and give up his dreams). I think that the hatred that bubbled inside him for all these years have mostly to do with his disappointment in seeing his childhood idol crumble like that.

I can relate to humans more though.
Umm...I don't think so XD I don't know if he got bullied either, since he probably emitted an aura of "get the fuck away i don't want to be with you." Either way, he shows absolutely no social skills, which leads me to believe that he was at the very least isolated from his peers as a kid. I don't know the cause of this, but perhaps living in the shadow of your older brother can do things to your self esteem after a while, you know?

Yeah, I thought it was obvious.
I honestly can't gauge if Paul was born a natural sadist. I can see him as being anti-social and stuff, but I don't think he would cause harm without purpose (or really do anything without purpose). It's a very common misconception a lot of people make of him, I suppose, considering the torture he put his pokemon through. But in the end, he just wanted them to be stronger.

    That's because I do XD
Yes, I do. And yes, I realize that I'm awful :U

I think they can still make it work. Nothing wrong with a little fluff.
