  • It is a lot of work, and a lot of it is luck-based :p When breeding, the offspring will have two IVs randomly selected from each of its parents (they can overlap) and the rest are randomly generated. You can ensure that a certain trait gets passed over by putting a power item with the corresponding stat on it (for instance, I have a perfect special attack IV Ditto; if I put the power lens on it, it will pass that special attack to its child). And yup. it's all serious business :p

Ah, whatever. It's SOME guy in there XD
Individual Values. If I had to make a comparison to real life terminology, they'd be like genes. Basically, every pokemon has "values" for each of its stats (HP, atk, spatk, def, spdef, speed) from 0-31. It determines how high that stat will get with leveling up. A pokemon with 30 IVs in attack will become stronger than a pokemon with 10 IVs by the time they reach level 100, even if they trained the exact same way.

A blue haired guy in the battle subway will tell you your best IV stat. Pokemon with good IVs will have "relatively superior" or "superior" and "can't be better in that regard" for individual stats. You can also check them yourself by leveling up a pokemon to about 15 + (while taking account the EVs you had trained him with) and putting them into an IV calculator (I use Veekun's IV calc most of the time, google it).
The only Tsukimi I know is the one from Kuragehime...and she's paired to Kanosuke (the bishie :p)

Well...yeah. I mean, it can never match a human's intellect (for now o_o

Trust me...EV training is absolutely necessary. Some of the pokemon I've battled with you had absolutely no training whatsoever, not even by the random mons you see on the routes. So...yeah, they were weaklings XD

Well, I already have a prks pokemon, but the prospect of mystery eggs and "A-class natures" sound good...as long as they have good IVs too :p
While, i cant recollect all of them, but the one which i really like was the one in which shiro keeps going to a girl's house who gives him food and all..And ultimately she moves away...u know it?Anyway, which is urs..?
Ok, now after seeing wiki about shinchan ,i realize what u mean..
They changed every single name in the english dub, right?
I could go for some candy right now...*drools* Now look what you made me do. >:/

Nope. Don't have Wifi either. :(
Well, like I said...the AI isn't exactly...intelligent :p Pssshhh, I wouldn't care. I mean, I swept the last gym with just my excadrill. I just wanted to get through the game asap :p

yeah, that'd be cool. but you have to be level 50 this time. None of my pokemon below that are EV trained :p

    It sounds interesting, continue.
Sorry, it happens. Especially when I'm mad :p

Artificial Intelligence. It's the reason why the game knows what type you are and will act accordingly most of the time. For instance, if I bring out my Pignite, Elesa's emonga will use aerial ace and not volt switch since it'd be super effective against me. Pikachu would resist both volt tackle and aerial ace, and it's fast, so they want to outspeed you while doing some damage (hence the quick attack).
