  • I mean, it's interesting to learn what you know, but it doesn't pander to my tastes.
...You don't care, do you? Because that's the response you give me every time I start to ramble.
If I also may inform you of one more feature of the MvC series starting from MvC2: Delayed Hyper Combos. You do these by performing a regular HC, but while your character is performing his/her HC, you input the button combination for your next character's HC. If you've performed a DHC correctly, your next character will switch in, cancelling (interrupting) the last attack of your character's HC to perform theirs (plus the background will change color). You can do this up to two times.

To provide an example: suppose I had a team of Daz, Jake, and Shadow. Daz would start with his Compassionate Flying Slash HC, and while he's attacking, I input the command for Jake's Strawberry on the Shortcake HC. Jake switches in, cancelling Daz's final uppercut to perform his HC (while the background switches from blue to green). While he's attacking, I input the command for Shadow's Chaos Blast HC. Shadow switches in, cancelling Jake's final slash to perform his HC (while the background switches from green to red).
Yup. Based on the Marvel vs Capcom series (so you would have 3 characters to switch between in a battle, Hyper Combos, and the other stuff).

Speaking of MvC, I was incorrect on one detail in my last rambling: Phoenix Wright's Ace Attorney HC is Level 3, not Level 5. I was confusing him for this Phoenix, who has a L5 HC where she turns into Dark Phoenix; it automatically activates when her health reaches zero.
