Yes, but since I'm saving up for college (dammit, everyone my age is gonna be a soph by August V_V) I don't have the luxury of living on my own right now. My dad took me "home" to Korea and attempted to convince me that he was somehow gonna get the Greencard (which I still don't have) well over 2000 miles from the country without making any of the necessary arrangements, and kept feeding me the crap that I just need to wait on my ass for a year and a half in a paltry abode where school is like paying to be in a work environment where the boss has you on the job 14 hours per day, 7 days per week, and won't even pay the minimum wage.
So, it's like you fall into a wormhole that leads you back to the times when whites would regard Asian or African workers as an inferior lot and pushed you 'til you die of dehydration after working 16-hour shifts under the sun.
Only, good luck ever making your way through the Pacific Ocean on your own as a 13-year old kid.
My dad pulled me from the States and when I returned, I wasn't my normal self anymore. Like, couldn't sleep at night without punching the wall or cursing the motherfuckers who put me in this paltry little abode for their own benefit, usually was overcome by grief and stuttered through half a sentence until I was out of it, etc. All this could go and reimburse itself in a spiraling repetition of iniquity in my head all the way at the cash register of a comic shop.
Yeah, like I said, it was a while until I got over it. Parents should seriously learn that kids aren't the unworthy, disposable lumps of flesh that they can just go and treat like inconsequential beings well below their position. Or, at least mine did.
Yeah, long answer. Turned out pretty personal anyway. >_>
Depression, family matters, dropping out of junior high for the stupidest reason ever. That kinda thing can leave one hell of a derisive impact, whether or not you actually are a teenager.
It's all right. I don't know how to explain this xD
It's sort of amazing to me too. What's more amazing is that the letters in Korean are quite easy to write and use. The letters even arrange in a typical ASDF keyboard perfectly. So here we use keyboards that can type both Korean and English (shifting can be done by pressing a button) ^^
Not derive, since the language we use today were invented by a Korean King and are unique. And the pronounciation system aren't the same.
I don't know how to explain it, but the situation is similar to the Japanese language having Kanji in it.
