  • Though they do have Blissey nurses, as well. Or they can knock him out. And since he's a non-normal, they can use the Blissey abilities as soon as the identification blood test comes back in half an hour!
    Yeah.

And Joseph will have to go through the painful experience of getting his skin shred on pavement, and then through the painful experience of grinding all of the contaminants out of those shredded areas followed by disinfectant all over his body.
Ah. So they'll be in charge of the non-normals in NYC. I guess we know where Spider-Man went to get his H1N1 shot.
Maybe he could go there then. Maybe they not only handle spirits and gjinkas, but other non-normal as well. In fact, they probably treat normals too, seeing as you're not supposed to deny someone care.
The Spirits and Gjinkas have one right there in NYC. It's also where all three brothers recovered after their deaths and where Matt had his heart transplant done.
Well, they tied him to the back of a tow truck and drove it around the city. This obviously had a very heavy physical toll on his body and severely worsened his condition.
Joseph doesn't retaliate afterwards, though. And he learns the hard way not to mess with gangs. And it's sort of what starts the "Not talking much" thing.
The leader of the gang that stole Joseph's car learns from another source that Joseph was the one that gave the chemicals to the rival gang and gave them the idea. So, he's going to get revenge.
And he probably gave him cancer.

Then, of course, that gang retaliates, and makes sure they got the right guy.
First, he finds out from a friend of his that used to roll with said gang where the leader goes to get tatoos done. Then, he sneaks a few chemicals from the science lab and clues in a gang rival to the one that stole his car on where to go and even provides them with the chemicals needed to spike the guy's ink. Said polluted ink ends up causing a really nasty burn scar on the guy's face. Not to mention it was probably really harmful in ther ways, too.
