Yeah, it does piss him off quite a bit. And since his new personality is essentially all of them combined into one... There's Hyathhi's temper issues. He got his revenge, though.
Random classmates. No one in particular. Just bringing that up.
By the way, the original Joseph Sheridan actually had a car and knew how to drive. And our Joseph gained that knowledge when he took up that new persona, so that was useful.
His car ends up getting stoledn by a classmate involved in said gang. That's some shitty luck right there.
Oh yeah, and there are a LOT of gangs in New York city, so our characters probably had classmates that were either involved in some of those gangs or bought drugs from them.
Nah, Marcus doesn't go nuts about science. In fact, he could care less.
Anya on the other had isn't very studious at all. She'd rather go play football (soccer) or something really exciting than sit down and read a book about god-knows-what for hours on end.
But Marcus is funny. Oh yeah, and he loves history and ruins just as much as he loves books. And he tends to go a little bit nuts iff something like that really fascinates him. Looks like the apple didn't fall far from the tree.
Oh yeah, I'm adding Marcus and Anya to the Cerina group. Marcus was doing some research on the civilizations there. Now, how did he react when the planet split apart? He didn't notice, he was too wrapped up in his book. XD
Even if the previous is false, if the teasing was really that bad, Kazi would've gotten him a tutor. And at that, schizophrenics tend to be violent enough to not be allowed to attend school with other children. The little girl in the Discovery Health documentary couldn't.
Akura probably also got him with one of his acquaintances, a psychiatrist who specializes in chemical-based stuff like schizophrenia who can offer more help. And being a doctor, this person probably stepped up the meds when he started getting reports of more ghosts coming back. Almia is the leader in everything technological, and this is taking place sixty to seventy years into the future. They probably have better antipsychotics and developed more over his life.
Akura probably would've worked on the introversion. That's more of his niche than schizophrenia.
Since he lives in Almia, Kazi transferred him to the same school system that Yukari goes to- a Divinissian school, where he is least likely to suffer discrimination. I may not actively seek out social interactions, but I managed to garner a following because I'm awesome at something. High-end technology, especially video games, are rare in Divinis and befitting of the natures of young people always on the cutting edge, mere ownership- let alone mastery -is considered to be the epitome of cool.
So long as he's a nice person who doesn't go out of his way to attack and/or insult people and generally keeps a handle on his condition(s), his classmates are going to be branded as assholes for picking on him.
His doggy happened to die an untimely death due to illness. And remember, he's a bit of a social introvert because of his mental condition. If you're not close family, chances are he's going to be very reluctant to befriend you. As a result, he never got to know any classmates and ended up getting harassed, and he ended up fighting back with actual physical violence. And as he got older, his old antipsychotics just weren't cutting it anymore. Days before attempting to kill himself, he probbly was just sitting in his room doing nothing and not speaking to anyone. And then he tried to hang himself.
