  • After they got all his stuff moved in, Noah got settled in for his new life with his grandpa.

    [I thought you said he was okay with milk.]
    Kazi: They have central heating. Besides, I don't like the idea of leaving kids alone with fire.

    [Celia got a fireplace because she's mature enough to handle it. Six/seven-year old Noah isn't.]
    [Kazi talked to Akura first because, A.) he's the first one he thought of who knows a thing or two about this stuff and B.) both Noah and Kazi are more familiar with him.]

    Kazi showed him the two rooms without fireplaces- one was dark blue and oceanic complete with a vintage sea chart of Aetherion on the wall, and the other warm and autumn-y.
    [He already has. He's probably been doing psychotherapy for the last year. Though antipsychotics work well, too, Akura does not have sufficient qualifications to prescribe them. He's an on-site army psychologist. He doesn't deal with schizophrenia often.]

    Kazi: Let's see... I'll let you pick your room out before we start moving anything in.
    [Yeah, though I'm making it more outright. Jesse had it lightly, Noah's is a bit more severe.]

    Noah: Okay.

    [Isn't he going to get Akura to talk to him?]
    Kazi: You're not going to want to when you come here. We're thirty-five kilometers north of the Arctic Circle. It snows 350 days of the year.

    [35km = approx. 20mi]
