basically, what happens is, the lymph nodes in your skin are enlarged and cause uncancerous tumors. it starts in early childhood, but when puberty is reached, there is a possibility it can get cancerous if it's not cured. you just go into basic surgery and they are removed. this usually works. i'm not sure why hers wasn't cured as 90% of the people that go through the procedure are cured. oh well. she just may be that rare 10%.
