Do you love Pokémon? Have you ever wanted to directly contribute to the Pokémon community? If so, we have multiple opportunities for you!

Bulbagarden is looking to hire new staff members for the following projects:
  • Bulbanews
  • Art Staff
  • Social Media
  • BulbaTrade
  • Bulbagarden Forums (multiple sections)
These are all volunteer positions that allow fans to directly support the Bulbagarden and greater Pokémon community. If hired, you would become a member of the Bulbagarden Staff and would therefore be expected to uphold Bulbagarden's values while posting on our platforms.

Bulbagarden's values are:
  1. Providing fans, staff, and the wider community with a safe and inclusive place to connect to connect with each other and discuss all things Pokémon
  2. Celebrating the diversity of the Pokémon community, and supporting these communities and marginalized groups through our platform and direct action
  3. Offering the community and staff a chance to impact Bulbagarden and all Pokémon fans through opportunities to contribute, grow, develop, and lead
  4. Becoming "the very best, like no one ever was" — seeking to challenge ourselves, push forward, and strive to improve ourselves and our community
Each position has its own application form and submission method, so please read the instructions for each position you are applying for carefully. You are welcome to apply to as many of the positions as possible. Experience is helpful, but the only requirements to apply are a love of Pokémon, a desire to help out the community, and a willingness to learn. Much of our staff communication and socialization happens through Discord, so if you are hired we will strongly encourage you to create a Discord account if you do not already have one. If you have any questions, feel free to post them in this thread or message any of our current staff members.

We will be accepting applications through July 19th, and we will announce the new staff members shortly after that.

We hope to have you on our team! :bulbagarden:
