Yeah, I agree about Infernape too... a similar thing recently happened with Tepig and Pignite... the recent ep made me really like it, and even start to like Pignite (until that ep, I didn't like Tepig's evolutions and didn't want it to evolve)

I like Chimchar a lot too... Turtwig is nice too... I guess I'd rate them as Pip > Chim > Turtwig
Though to be honest I only started to really like Chimchar around the time Ash got it XD till then I kind of prefered Turtwig... the anime can really influence how I feel about some Poké
