XY: Hatching a shiny Magikarp, which would just evolve into the most common shiny ever, yet using my knowledge of the game's mechanics to reset, switch out the parents, collect the egg, and hatch it into... a shiny Pumpkaboo! That was a huge frick yeah to me. It is rewarding to be a Pokemon nerd!
