To be honest, writing battles may be the hardest part for me. Since I have no interest in battles as a sport/competition (except for the games where it's fun with little implications), they're only going to come up in dangerous scenarios. The last chapter heavily foreshadows this, so I'm not really spoiling anything for you.

So I need to make each battle feel tense and unique, which I can't pull off in small intervals. They're probably going to feel like the battles from the Digimon anime (first three seasons, at least, as I haven't watched the rest). Except without Mega Evolution, lol.

I'm curious to know what you think about about Ernest's storyline. Some people have been negative about it.

I kinda prefer Kris's story, since I have a soft spot for her. But I think Ernest being from a world without Pokemon is interesting. I'm also interested to see if Kris and Ernest will cross paths somehow.
