Considering the Alolan Vulpix that keeps getting shown in the trailers (which seems weird for a random pokemon in what appears to be a plot relevant place to have it's own mini cut scene), I still feel like it's going to draw minor details from the anime but not entire plot points.
It's up for debate, but considering the exclamation point and the long ellipsis, it does sound like he's actually worried instead of indifferent.
Somebody also pointed out in this thread that two...
We don't know that yet. Remember when Aether was advertised as the "good guys" that saved the ~poor defenseless pokemon~ from Team Skull and not the actual threat?
I feel like they're going to do that again. Especially since the Japanese trailer takes care in hinting that Lusamine took a chill...
Maybe hes either:
1. Related to Lt. Surge.
2. In a "experience Kanto" event and Po Town has been remade so the buildings are exact replicas of the Kanto gyms.
3. He just likes trash can switch puzzles.
Wasn't Darkrai the unofficial eclipse pokemon? Either that or cosmog's lore got an anime upgrade.
Either way, it's definitely nothing if it's a planetarium special. It's probably just an edutainment thing about the real solar eclipse.
Depending on what magazine it is, and if it's not an unofficially official one with industry connections in Spain/Mexico/some other Spanish speaking country, it's probably just them trying to get the latest scoop and only finding fake leaks.
There's no way to fact check things right now due to...
The thing is though Disguise is like a one round substitute. If it breaks it looks like it has a broken neck for the rest of the match. That's the ability.
To insert a new form, even battle-only one, would mean that Disguise would have to be rewritten in some way that triggers the "creepy...
It repairs the disguise at night. Meaning that, if the formless black smoke thing from the anime is it's real form, it can easily blend in with the shadows.
There's no need to tone anything down if you can blend in with the darkness.
Spinarak, the original happy face spider, says hi.
But back to topic, Mimikyu is probably a wraith or maybe a shadow person more than a spider given what we've seen in the anime with it being shapeless and blending with the water. Other than the cloth being a dead ringer for the character...
Crystal on the Switch 2019.
Seriously though...the most they're probably going to do is johto merch like @DoctorWhy said, or 2019 will be when they announce gen 8. I mean we did get Sun and Moon for the 1st gen 20th and the adult Red and Blue cameos.
As far as mimikyu goes, does nobody remember how in the anime it lost its disguise in the water, floated around as a ball of nothing with eyes for a little bit, and (almost) killed Meowth after he saw it?
The only thing that preview hints at is that's going to happen on land this time. Its...
Let's be honest though, as somebody that collects pokemon plushies, the official ones are hit and miss.
Especially if they have a more detailed design than other pokemon or are made by Tomy or whoever does the other ones like that $40 misshapened Ninetales from Hot Topic that is also putting...
It's possible that it's going through some reset. Like the servers are being switched over to the new games like the splatfests in splatoon were.
Just because there's only one global mission left isn't a hint that it's canned. It's probably a hint that they're just no longer focusing on the...
Who's to say in another 20 years all the inconsistencies now won't be change and be fixed? I mean everything would have been remodeled and redrawn a bunch of times by that point.
Taking that into consideration, it's far from a bad comparison.
At the time they were still inconsistent. Just because they're no longer around doesn't change that.
What if the z-move animation has it standing on its hind legs. Maybe it's like Meowth and Purrloin and that it can switch back and forth even if it doesn't look like it can?
The updated Yellow and GS sprites had no excuse, though. Especially since they made the original 151 look like the official art outside of things like Slowpoke and a few others pre-gen II pokemon still having their inconsistencies until edited out in the international versions. There's also the...
Everyone talking about inconsistencies between official art, anime, and sprites/models like the original 251 didn't have things worse.
Does nobody remember Charmander's back spike that lasted until yellow, far after it was removed in the anime since the beginning and the updated art? Slowpoke's...
But isn't there already a design connection in that they're both guns/projectile weapons that are also animals that stick to things?
I mean, it's more of a thematic one and a fish turning into an octopus is still weird. But this has been a thing since gen II.
