Gen I: Bulbasaur because of its dinosaur like appearance.
Gen II: Totodile because of its playful behaviour.
Gen III: Mudkip because Mudkip is insanely cute. Swampert is one of the most horrible looking Pokémon, though.
Gen IV: Turtwig because Turtwig is even cuter than Mudkip.
Gen V...
I liked this one! 8/10

Actually, I hate all Kanto starters. They are monstrous, ugly and all of them, except Venusaur, are horrible choices in competitive battles. I think I like Bulbasaur the best out of those three.
Re: Ruby and Sapphire Remake Discussion
You mean in HG/SS? Honchkrow is not available before the Elite Four. You can only find a Dusk Stone after you beat the Elite Four.
Re: Pokemon that you wish were special attackers rather thank physical (or vice versa
Yes, but Empoleon learns Sword Dance. It would be broken if he also learned Nasty Plot.
Re: Pokemon that you wish were special attackers rather thank physical (or vice versa
Poor Empoleon. He begged for a higher Attack stat, but GameFreak chose to give Empoleon a higher Sp. Attack stat.
Indeed. I'd also like to see more Ghost-type specialists.
Another Dragon-type specialist would be nice too. Perhaps a professor obsessed with myths and legends?
Re: Ruby and Sapphire Remake Discussion
The original R/S contests were lovely. It felt like a real journey, because you had to travel from town to town to participate in a contest.
Re: Pokemon that you wish were special attackers rather thank physical (or vice versa
Dragonite is a mixed attacker, just like Salamence.
Volcarona has a decent physical movepool, but its Attack stat is quite low. Also, it would be great if Bastiodon had a higher Sp. Attack stat.
No. I think Ash will never win a league, sadly. What will happen to Ash if he wins the Isshu League? The writers would have to come up with a completely different and original story.
