We’re guaranteed episode titles this week, so hopefully we don’t have to wait much longer for this to be confirmed. If Ash vs. Leon starts in November, then it makes me wonder what’s going to happen in October. Regardless, I think it’s fair if they don’t want to rush into the Scarlet and Violet...
I want them to reveal that Paul was also in the World Championships, but he’s ranked 10th or 11th or something. The episode could show that he’s frustrated that he barely missed the cutoff for Masters Eight. I think that would be pretty interesting, considering he most likely reaches out to Ash...
Nothing is obvious except for Leon, because Journeys reminds us of Ash wanting to fight Leon in the opening sequence of every episode. Journeys can have Ash battle Dianthia and Steven if they wanted to. We just don’t know what’s going to happen.

I’m fully anticipating most, or all, of Ash’s friends to watch the Masters Eight matches in person. Ash already told Serena that he’s participating, Clemont and Bonnie watched the Drasna match, and Cilan would have every reason to attend considering both Ash and Iris are in the Masters Eight...
