What was the point of Ash "mastering" becoming a Pokémon Master? The whole finale feels more like "what if Gen 3-8 Pokémon existed when Ash and travelling with Brock and Misty", than it does a finale.
Honestly, this is how I would have done it: Ash gets tired of being bombarded with people...
Here's the thing: I liked it more when Goh JUST had capturing as his thing instead of neglecting his Pokémon we're supposed to care about. Would have been a lot better than the rushed Sobble evolutions and Grookey. Maybe he could have branched out into capturing Pokémon for professors to give to...
Again, I haven't seen the episode yet and I just think it would been more meaningful if Paul fought Ash with the first team he saw him use. Not to mention it would likely show Torterra in a good light.
Anyone else hate the team Paul used against Ash?? What's worse is he uses the aces of Cynthia, Lance and Steven so he just comes across as a copycat. I was hoping his Ursaring somehow evolved, giving us a glimpse of Hisuii Pokémon in the present, so it ties in with the Spanish region having...
I hate how the PWC is laid out. Why is Ash going against Lance? It would have been more interesting if Lance and Iris; two Dragon trainers fought, since Iris wants to be the BEST Dragon trainer. Why is she fighting Alain at all? "OH BUT HE HAS A CHARIZARD" yeah, ONE Dragon type that he may not...
I know, I just want to see Leafeon again. :( Virgil's Leafeon never even got to fight. Additionally, Leafeon is the Eeveelution to appear the least in the anime.
He won a league, so that gives him reason enough. Additionally, he could have the Eevee Z-Move, which would give reason for the "Only one Mega/Z-Move/GMax allowed" thing, since I doubt anyone in the PWC will even USE a Z-Move. It could also tie up Chloe's arc by having an Eevee expert work out...
I wish we saw more Galarian GLs and ANY of the DLC cast. What's the point of a spin-off anime like Twilight Wings if they're non-canon? They add nothing and only take away from what could have happened in the main anime.
As for PWC, some of the Champions are so lackluster. I don't get why...
Honestly, Goh would have been better off in Pokémon Origins, since Pokémon are treated more like animals in that and it's expected to capture all Pokémon without caring much for them.
Snivy also kept the same four moves for the entirety of the series. The writers clearly didn't know which of Ash's Pokémon to prioritise so they ended up shafting all but three: Pikachu, Pignite and Krookodile.
Wait, but then doesn't that mean Masters takes place before GSC/HGSS or did Gold/Ethan fail to beat Red? That's an anticlimactic way to end the game...
I don't know if it was a mandate or what. Maybe some executive who hated SM wanted the anime to be more like the games. Could also explain why Galar is seen so little of, because there isn't much to do there but do the Gym challenge. Still doesn't explain the lack of DLC areas though.
I mean the IoA DLC content could have been added to the anime once Gloria had about 3 badges and since they don't need to reveal who's a Gym Leader right away, they could have had an IoA arc that lasted for 8 episodes that revealed the two minor league Gym Leaders there. The CT DLC could have...
