    Alain's tactical thinking is actually decently written, but the battle is so rushed it ends up looking like he throws. Ash, Steven, and Team Rocket all acknowledge Alain in their dialogue, but TR are made to forget where they know him from. Not much else of note from the subs that I noticed.
