Well Arcanine has higher attack. But his best Physical fire move is Flare Blitz which is a recoil move. Wild Charge is also good versus water types, but I don't like having two recoil moves on a set.

Not only do I like the theme, I really liked the design of his Gym as well. It reminds me of Chapter 2 in Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door.
