That is really neat! It's so weird how straight lines curve like that on maps because of 2D geometry not being able to perfectly replicate 3D geometry and whatnot.
The mansion shown in the trailer seemed tropical enough (although my memory might be failing me), so maybe Hawaii would be a possible candidate for a region inspiration? Although we already did have the tropical Hoenn, if I'm not mistaken it was based off of Japan.
Agreed. Usually I don't discuss politics, but I feel like everybody's been talking about them so much here that I figured "Hell, if you can't beat 'em, join 'em." Maybe I should beat 'em instead. :P
