I have more non-Pokemon ships than I have actual Pokemon ships, but I guess some highlights include:
The earliest ship I got into was WALL-E and EVE. That was super cute, and is a big part of why I love that movie so much, cuz I'm a sucker for good ships like them.

I can only imagine what it was like back in the days when it was new based on these posts, good lord. It's nice to see that the answer to the question was basically, "yes, it was extremely toxic back when BW was new and relevant, but by the end of the day, Iris was a character with major flaws...

I know that lorewise, Aerial Ace is based off a sword move, which is why so many Pokemon that have some sort of sword learn it, and Flying types learn it because... it's Flying type?
1st question- No one knows for sure, but not many reasons they'll do anything different.
2nd question- VC Pokemon can only go to Gen 7 games, and won't go to Gen 6 games. I don't know if VC games from Gold/Silver will go to Sun/Moon, however.
That was actually an oversight. It was never meant to learn Steel Wing, it was meant to learn TM51, which was Ally Switch in Gen 5, but when GF ported over its moveset, someone forgot that the TM was a different move in Gen 6. It becomes less excusable when it's still part of its Gen 7 TM moveset.
