I felt Goh should have gotten tokens because he felt the danger of the trap and/or because he stopped Tokio from forfeiting (so Goh didn't chose the easy path). He did win 2 tokens for ending in 2nd place (and the other top 4 trainers got 1 token each).
Also, Goh doesn't need that much tokens...
Not a bad episode. It showed Goh is a better battler than way back in the flute cup, without making him seem overpowered. He still isn't a pro, but competent.
We also saw the ranking of Garry, Tokio, Goh and other top candidates, which is always nice to know.
