Tornadus was the one who I kept dying to. The others were annoying but I managed them, though Enamorous took two tries because I accidentally knocked them out in the first fight. Stealth spray+smoke+using my party to destroy the shields instead of items helped a ton.

Something that became a lot more noticeable lately is that the lock on is bad. I've had several situations just today where the game turned me around 180 degrees to lock on to some random Pokémon behind me instead of the major boss I was fighting.

Yeah, I at least think Swords Dance and similar moves should raise stats two levels instead of one, but I'm not sure if stat raises/drops even have multiple levels anymore.

Yeah, the new battle system feels worse than the old one. I was a bit worried about what would happened with Speed when it was announced and it unfortunately came true. It is harder to fully sweep since a Pokémon then in some earlier entries since coming in after a faint seems to get a big...
