I easily spend 40-50 hours of playtime in the main game, probably even a little more cause I tend to soft reset for pokemon with decent nature (I don't do anything competitive but I don't like my pokemon's strengths being hindered). So I can't say I'd prefer (a lot) more length in the main game...
