Looks rad. Pretty well balanced.
I haven't narrowed my team down to 6 yet. I just arrived at the observatory and my team looks something like:
-Incineroar
-Lycanroc (Dusk)
-Arbok
-Butterfree
-Mantine
-Magneton
-Kirlia
-Marshtomp
-Tsareena
-Trevenant
As far as narrowing it down goes, I'm...
I think it's because your team is perfectly fine. For an in-game team, it should be solid enough. Though I have a couple little things.
1. Blaziken - Slash is meh. You already have two great STAB moves. I'd give it Aerial Ace instead for extra type coverage, or a stat boosting move.
2. Zapdos -...
If you haven't used one before, I'd definitely suggest catching a Goomy. Goodra is nice. Unless you absolutely want Tyrunt and not another Dragon. I'd also suggest Helioptile. He's fast and a good special attacker with a decent ability, and pretty good move coverage iirc, even though he's a...
If I could make a suggestion, as far as Psychic types go, Alakazam (first that popped in my head) is far better than Meowstic. I used Meowstic on my first playthrough and I was disappointed.
And Xerneas isn't until near the end of the main game, of course. Sylveon is a great Fairy type to have...
Re: How is my team?
Overall, looks like a fantastic team for in-game. Very well rounded. As long as you cover the types absent from your team by giving those typed moves to your members, you'll be good. (Example, Psychic and Energy Ball would work fantastic on Chandelure for type coverage).
Re: The In-Game Team Review Thread
If I could make some suggestions on movesets:
Serperior: You really don't need all three of those Grass moves. I would suggest that in addition to Cut, also get rid of Leaf Storm or Leaf Blade (Depending on if it's special attack stat is higher or lower than...
Re: The In-Game Team Review Thread
About to start White 2 and this is my projected team for the end of the main game:
Serperior - Coil, Leaf Blade, Outrage, Aqua Tail/Toxic
Excadrill - Sandstorm, Drill Run, Iron Head, Brick Break
Magnezone - Thunderbolt, Flash Cannon, Signal Beam, Magnet Rise...
Re: The In-Game Team Review Thread
1. Blazekin looks okay
2. Teach Breloom a Grass type attack, replacing Headbutt/Sludge Bomb
3. Not sure on Manetric, you don't really need both Electric moves. Maybe replace Thunderbolt with Thunderwave.
4. I would highly suggest replacing Water Pulse (or...
Re: The In-Game Team Review Thread
I just beat the Pokemon League in a replay of HeartGold (First half of game). Here's the team I used:
Lv. 39 Typhlosion - Quick Attack, Dig, Lava Plume, Fire Blast
Lv. 40 Dragonair - Waterfall, Thunder, Thunderwave, Dragon Rush
Lv. 39 Pupitar - Payback...
Re: The In-Game Team Review Thread
For Magnezone, I would strongly suggest Signal Beam. That Bug move will help with Dark and Psychic. Or maybe Thunderwave to get a status effect quickly to gain advantage.
Aside from that, good team. Maybe a NeverMeltIce for Lanturn.
Re: TAKE NOTE: All in-game teams go here.
Personally, I wouldn't use 2 bugs and 3 rocks, but to each their own, so I'll just review the pokemon.
Serperior: Looks good
Crustle: Don't really see why it has Aerial Ace, but aside from that, it's okay.
Galvantula: Good, but I would suggest...
Re: TAKE NOTE: All in-game teams go here.
Thanks for the input ;)
I agree completely with Serperior, so I'll go with the physical set. Aqua Tail should be good. I wasn't sure whether to give it Aqua Tail or Leech Seed for the physical set.
I'm thinking that as long as I get Magnezone, then...
Re: TAKE NOTE: All in-game teams go here.
I'm starting White 2, and this is my possible planned team:
Serperior (Overgrow) - Coil/Calm Mind, Leaf Blade/Giga Drain, Outrage/Dragon Pulse, ???
Excadrill (Sand Force) - Sandstorm, Drill Run, Rock Slide, Iron Head
Braviary (Defiant) - Fly...
Re: TAKE NOTE: All in-game teams go here.

Lucario (Centurio) Lv. 30
Growlithe (Wind) Lv. 30
Espeon (Psy) Lv. 30
Trapinch (Terra) Lv. 30
Leavanny (Leafara) Lv. 29
Mincinno (Chilla) Lv. 30
Crobat (Fang) Lv. 30
I have 4 badges...
Re: TAKE NOTE: All in-game teams go here.
As for Ferrothorn, I would suggest picking one steel type move and removing the other for diversity/coverage. For Scrafty, I don't think Poison Jab is necessarily needed. Jellicent may already have a good poison move. I think that Bulk Up or maybe...
Re: TAKE NOTE: All in-game teams go here.
Anyone care to check out my new planned team for Black 2?
Samurott – Surf, Ice Beam, Waterfall, Dive
Lucario – Close Combat, Iron Tail, Ice Punch, Bone Rush
Flygon – Earthquake, Stone Edge, Outrage, Fly
Galvantula – Giga Drain, Signal Beam, Thunder...
Re: TAKE NOTE: All in-game teams go here.
I would suggest a Psychic type probably. And it would need a ghost type move like shadowball because your team has 3 weaknesses to psychic. Here's a team builder to make it easier: Pokemon.Marriland.com - Diamond / Pearl Team Builder
Re: TAKE NOTE: All in-game teams go here.
This is my planned team to use for B2/W2 this October:
Samurott (Torrent) – Rain Dance, Surf, Waterfall, 4th move undecided
Lucario – Force Palm/Close Combat, Swords Dance, Ice Punch, Bone Rush/Earthquake
Espeon (Synchronize) – Psybeam/Psychic, Shadow...
