Not a very obvious one but my grandpa gave me a GBA with Emerald because I liked the show. This got me into video games and my interests branched from there, including my current career. Pokémon is the only thing I call myself a "fan" of, but oddly enough I've never directly made any friends...

I don't remember when I started, but it was on local TV, probably 1999 or 2000 when I was 2 or 3-years old. I do remember also having a VHS with "A Chansey Operation" and "Holy Matrimony" that I'd watch over and over though.
