The entire plot was focused on Pikachu and Ash. Ash ignored Pikachu and trained with Riolu. The only time that Pikachu got more focus then him in the episode was in the middle portion.
Goh didnt interrupt the plot that much. I honestly was glad we did not get to see poor Gengar getting destroyed.
In episode 17.
Who owns Pikachu? Also It was an Ash episode, It was about him learning to rely less on Riolu.
There are also some episodes like JN025, where Ash is the focus but Goh also does something
In episode 27 Goh did do some stuff in the start and in episode 13 he explained the PWC and caught Skwovet which is one of Goh's important Pokemon.
As for the episodes focusing on Ash that Goh has a part in or not, here is the list!
Ash focus with only Ash
Ash focus with some Goh
JN010
JN012...
Now let's compare them to the only Goh focused ones where Ash did nothing/almost nothing!

No. Eternatus is a rampaging beast. And they wont copy Suicune since both of them are different things. Goh also does not own Eternatus, he gave it to Magnolia.
