Its still year 3 and older teams at year 3 had better character, development, and focus then the JN team. Hell i'm even willing to say that older teams year 2 is better than JN team at year 3 at all of those things.

JN is at year 3 at this point its a bit too late for that defense.

Yes. The Johto and Unova teams had better character, better development, and they didn't disappear as offen as the JN team. Theirs very little if anything good I can say about the JN team.
