Because the models were HD-proofed. The quality was too much for the 3ds to handle. It has nothing to do with the number. A 32 gb card isn’t going to make the games 80$. Nintendo would just eat up the extra cost and still price the games 60$ The quality of animations in Sword/Shield is hardly...

And? It’s not like Nintendo of all companies can’t afford a 32 or 64 gb card, especially if it’s for one of their best selling series.
