Lopunny, the rabbit with long legs and several kicking moves, can learn Fire Punch... but not Blaze Kick.
But don’t fret, freaking Genesect has that one covered. Terminator Cockroach with a deadly fire weakness can learn a fire kick.
Volcarona, whose flames are bright enough to look like the sun, can’t learn Dazzling Gleam. It can, however, learn Magnet Rise and Wild Charge for some reason.
Golurk can’t learn Explosion, apparently. Given that it’s an automaton with a huge power source that gets unstable whenever tampered with, one would think blowing up would be an option?
I mean, true, but it’s weird that only Moltres can, in that case.
The other three fire type lines that can use Rain Dance are Reshiram, Delphox and Pyroar, and they all make some kind of sense. Delphox is a wizard, Reshiram is a guardian angel and Pyroar... is a Lion King reference, I guess.
HMs and their field effects had a few weird notes, such as Grimer getting Strength but Yveltal not.
A pile of sludge with the Cookie Monster’s face can move around a boulder the fucking god of death cannot.
I find it strange that the Bulbasaur line is notorious for not getting Dig, like the anime even pointed out... when it’s the one that makes the most sense out of the other Kanto starters that do.
The pokemon associated with the sky and the one associated with the sea can burrow underground, but...
It’s implied that Sigilyph is either a manmade guardian like Golurk or some kind of arcane deity, so that kinda excuses weird logic there.
Oh, Golurk can learn Ice Beam too. Maybe I’m onto something.
