I personally loved the BW take on Team Rocket. We had seen the same comedic antics for over 10 years at that point, so I enjoyed seeing what it would look like if they were more serious and not always focused on Pikachu. Had the Rocket/Plasma two-parter not had been shelved, I think the pay-off...
