That’s like pairing someone with their best friend, with whom someone already has good co-ordination with, to test teamwork. It makes no sense as one obviously works better with someone they know well.
The way the situation played out might be "wasted" for some people and "not wasted" for others. It’s subjective. You cannot tell someone what their opinion should be on that since, well, it’s not a fact.
Well, people do like to talk about how things aren’t objective... but what I saw here was one person saying something like it was objective fact, replied to by someone else who phrased their statement like objective facts. Whether or not a character is wasted can be subjective, no?
